This week's assignment is Earth/Green and thankfully after nearly four feet of snow just two weeks ago, we've had warmer temps and enough rain to melt most of it away - so now I've got some visible green earth to shoot! I hope the same goes for everyone else!

I live next door to the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor and had the opportunity to take my Grandpa, a Purple Heart recipient, to the ceremony when it opened in 2006. These coins were given out that day.

I've got to say that I'm really, really proud of y'all for figuring out something to photograph for "architecture."
Great job!

Now we're moving on to "Love." I think this week will be both easy and fun.

This might not look like a family-oriented picture, but this bear is most definitely a member of our family. He (well, one of 3) must go on car rides with us, grocery trips, and must be present for naps and bedtime. Otherwise, there will be no naps or bedtime, or pleasant car rides, or anything else.
