around the kitchen... the most used thing in my kitchen is my hotpot. I love it more than any person should love a small appliance. Hot pot, tea, sugar... ahhhh it makes for a good day :)

Hopefully we're all starting to experience some nicer weather which will encourage us all to get out and take more pictures! I know I certainly struggled getting nice photos with the low indoor lighting this winter. Still so much to learn...

Moving on to Week 11

Not a whole lot to choose from for Week 10, but I'm hoping Week 11 will be a bit more impressive.

This week's assignment is Earth/Green and thankfully after nearly four feet of snow just two weeks ago, we've had warmer temps and enough rain to melt most of it away - so now I've got some visible green earth to shoot! I hope the same goes for everyone else!

I live next door to the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor and had the opportunity to take my Grandpa, a Purple Heart recipient, to the ceremony when it opened in 2006. These coins were given out that day.

I've got to say that I'm really, really proud of y'all for figuring out something to photograph for "architecture."
Great job!

Now we're moving on to "Love." I think this week will be both easy and fun.

Please check the day of the week on which you're supposed to post your photo.  We've done a little rearranging so that we can have one day a week where no one is scheduled to post a photo.  This way we won't miss anyone when we open and close new weeks.  While the days of the week are just a guideline anyway, we think this will be a little more convenient for everyone!
